My whole day was spent Op shopping!

I promised a friend that the next time we both had a whole day free, I would take her on a tour of my favourite opshops, and today was the day.
We started off from home at 10.15 am, and our first stop was at the Salvation Army op-shop at 916 Doncaster Road, Doncaster.
I bought a gorgeous jacket for $25, a set of beer glasses for my friend's husband, and a cute chicken dish for my hubby (he's just started keeping bantam hens). The Xmas glasses in the photo were at one of the other opshops later on.

Next we headed to the Blackburn Opshop at 148 Springfield Road, Blackburn, and we were informed by the friendly volunteer staff that Tuesdays are the best days to come, as everything is cheap. For $10 I bought 5 ties and some laces for craft, two books and a little Xmas tray.

After a cup of coffee and a cake to fortify ourselves, we headed off for Balwyn, where we visited the Salvos at 307 Whitehorse Road, and the Brotherhood of St. Lawrence at 609 Whitehorse Road. This is the rest of my loot - the Australis denim handbag was an incredible $4, the scarf was $5, and the magazines were $1 each.
All in all, a very satisfactory day!
