Winter is upon us

We've just cleared all our summer clothes and filled the shop with winter woolies. Thank goodness for op shops when you are trawling through last years winter wardrobe with no joy. We've got everything from coats and boots to scarves and leather gloves in the most gorgeous colour combinations whether you're into brights or an autumnal palette. Time to stock up and be prepared for the next cold snap. :-) Nicole.

ooh yes I can't wait to get in and do a big winter stock up. That black and white scarf looks pretty good, don't mind that green either...

Hey Nicole, I think it is great that you are posting about your opshop here - I wish other opshops would do the same! It would be great to see what has come in to the shops. I might ask our BSL if I can be their official PR person, and post information about what is in. Trouble is, our turnover is so fast that by the time I posted something, it would probably be sold! Nah, I think I'll skip that idea...

Hi Gina, I don't think you need to post about individual goods to be the blog PR for your BSL. I think what you do is already great - you build enthusiasm about the whole idea of op-shopping! Which is of course the main game!!

Across the sea, today I went op shopping as well. I found a nesting Pyrex mixing bowl set (3) in cobalt blue that I had to have. Since I had a 50% off coupon (for being a frequent shopper) that I've been holding on to for a couple months now, I bought two pair of jeans, one with tags, a Ralph Lauren purse, a leather bound three book volume of the Avonlea stories. Total price $14.44. It was a truly excellent day!
