Tea cosies 'all tied up'.

Asa Marie asked about the tea cosies I make from ties that I find at opshops. I did post a photo on this blog on March 2, of the first one I made, and here is a photo of the second one I did. I'm going to try and make a few more by April 28 (the deadline for the Tea Cosy Festival), but I've been flat out making tea cosies from other material, as well as some quilt tops for charity, so I don't know if I'll have any more 'tied up' cosies done in the near future.

That's so cool, well done! Where is the tea cosy festival held? Sounds like fun!

Beanie Festival? Never heard of that one! The Teacosy Festival is held at Bundoora Homestead which is a historic mansion in Bundoora Park, off Plenty Road. It will be on from 2nd May to 27th May and all proceeds from sales of the teacosies on display go to the Cancer Council Vic.
