Well done on the Paul Frank T-Shirt and the sheets as well. Sheets are expensive. In fact well done on all the purchases
.
What a great post! I NEVER get to that side of Melbourne (and I guess you don't get up here often either!), so I really enjoyed reading about all your finds. Nice to hear your kids love books. We actually sell a lot of kids books in our opshop in Eltham.
Wow, things are CHEAP down your way! I'm jealous!!
Thanks Stella.... thanks Gina E there are heaps of other places down here that I havent gone to yet! My fave place Tyabb Op Shop has SO much stock and zero volunteers they mostly hold either half price sales every week or fill a bag for $5 just to turn their stock over... its nice to find a bargin when everything else is so expensive these days...
Hi Eleese
I know it doesn't count as an 'op shop', but I was just wondering whether you've been to the Tyabb Packing House, as it's around your area? And if so, what you thought of it? (Have been thinking about going, but don't want to go if it's ALL highly priced antiques and not much in the way of reasonably priced retro stuff.)
Hi FrolickingFroggy (love the nic) actually no I havent been there, I have driven past a few times but either have had a crying hungry baby in the car or am trying to get to school before the bell goes... but now that its school holidays and there is no mad rush I'll take a drive there tomorrow and have a look around...
