Op shoppping in Westernport & Surrounds

About once a month I do the "rounds" of the Op Shops in our area, Tyabb, Hastings, Crib Point, Somerville & Balnarring. There are about 9 Op-Shops that continusly amaze me with the treasures and bargins I find regulary every month... Here are just a few things we found on our last treasure hunt... Most are either Brand new with tags or have only had minimul wear and in great condition.
Paul Frank T-shirt half price day at Tyabb Op Shop $1.50
Tyabb Op Shop regulary have sales on weather it be Half price on clothes and shoes
or fill a bag for $5.00
My Daughters LOVE books. All these were between 25 cents the most expensive being 50 cents. All in good order none ripped or drawn on all in great condition!
These beautiful cotton single bed sheets were $2.00 each.
My 13yr old twins are currently fighting over this beautiful shirt, a bargin @ $4.00
Westernport Op Shop Crib Point
Some of the VERY cute stuffed toys my daughters found to love all for 50 cents to a $1 the Op Shop at Balnarring is a new haunt ive only recently discovered and while short on clothes books toys dress-ups and many kitchen and other fantastic items were abundant. Next month I'll be heading to Mornington to see what treasures I can find out there = ]

Well done on the Paul Frank T-Shirt and the sheets as well. Sheets are expensive. In fact well done on all the purchases
.

What a great post! I NEVER get to that side of Melbourne (and I guess you don't get up here often either!), so I really enjoyed reading about all your finds. Nice to hear your kids love books. We actually sell a lot of kids books in our opshop in Eltham.

Thanks Stella.... thanks Gina E there are heaps of other places down here that I havent gone to yet! My fave place Tyabb Op Shop has SO much stock and zero volunteers they mostly hold either half price sales every week or fill a bag for $5 just to turn their stock over... its nice to find a bargin when everything else is so expensive these days...

Hi Eleese

I know it doesn't count as an 'op shop', but I was just wondering whether you've been to the Tyabb Packing House, as it's around your area? And if so, what you thought of it? (Have been thinking about going, but don't want to go if it's ALL highly priced antiques and not much in the way of reasonably priced retro stuff.)
