A surprise visit

This morning I popped into the Salvos at Mornington, Tyabb Road and picked up some bargains.  Hubby drove me to the Chemist Warehouse which is next to the Salvos and then he had to take a business call so I took advantage of the chance to run into the op shop.

The little clock, in working order, was just $3.99, and is so pretty.

The needlepoint canvas with yarns was marked at $17.50 but has an original price of $119.00!!!!

All the other little bits and bobs were in a bag marked $4.99.

There are two rolls of rescue tape This takes us back to the 1980s and can be used for instant hems, holding low necklines in place, keeps straps (bra I presume) from showing, keep shoulder pads from slipping.  it also  prevents "gaposis" between buttons.

The buttons are "Approved by the Federal Council of Dry Cleaners of Australia" and are made in Australia.

There is one brown shoe lace and one red one.

As you can imagine these are on my "must have" list.

Spring is here so plenty of good op shopping weather ahead.
