Emerald beauties

Hello--- Just a quick post to show you guys the lovely earrings I found today at Vinnies in Hampton. I volunteer once a week at Storehouse op shop which is two doors down from Vinnies and across the road from a Salvos so I always make sure to do a quick check before I leave the area. These little beauties were sitting in the jewelery cabinet and I just happened to notice them, mostly for the colour. $2 later they were mine! Btw, they didn't come on the fancy backing card. That was my little touch to try to get a good pic! What have you guys been up to? Any good scores? I hope so! Chanee x

Those earrings are fab! I have a ring that is very similar. Cost me a lot more then $2 at the Bazaar on Chapel Street!

Thanks! Oh really? A ring would be awesome! Sometimes we have to make sacrifices for things we love so if you're getting good use out of the ring that's all that matters. It's actually funny because I just bought a bangle with a stone exactly the same shade and colour as these earrings from Etsy. It literally just arrived yesterday. I must be really attracted to green lately for some odd reason...?

Thanks for the tip. There seems to be five op shops along Hampton street (the three you mentioned plus Red Cross and another one ?) so I must visit Hampton soon!

Hi Akemi,

As far as I know there's only 4 - Storehouse, Vinnies and Salvos in a little cluster and then further up on the other end of the street a Red Cross. Definitely worth a visit. The Vinnies in Hampton often has ah-mazing furniture!

Good luck!

Thanks again Chanee. I found this Openfamily op shop (it actually said quality recycled boutique) on Google street view but I couldn't confirm if it is still there so I guess it is gone. I look forward visiting there anyway!
