I was thrilled when I found these shoes for $2 at the Uniting Church op shop in Romsey. They’d clearly never been worn, and as with most unworn shoes at op shops, when I took them to the counter the woman said, “They didn’t last long, I just put them out,” which just confirms to me that being a successful op-shopper isn’t about finding the best op shops, it’s about visiting whatever shops you can regularly and often. More on my blog.

Cute shoes! And I definitely agree with you, it's all about op shopping regularly... I think the further into suburbia you go the more gems there are to be found if you look enough :)
Gorgeous shoes! Can't believe they were only $2.
They're very cute!
What a bargain.!! Great little shoes. You pay more for a coffee.
Hush Puppies! The most comfortable brand of shoes ever made - all my favourite shoes since I was a kid have been Hush Puppies. Great find for $2. Yeah, it's all a matter of timing, isn't it - being at the right place at the right time. I am a Do Care volunteer, and have a new client. She is an opshop lover too, so I'm taking her to Savers tomorrow. We'll probably be in there for a couple of hours!
oh wow, cute, especially the little t-bar! what a bargain! i love hush puppies too, they're so comfy... is that really uncool for a 20 year old? :P and i totally agree, it's all about how often you go :)
gosh... This brand of shoes have been around for 50 years... So this has to be one of the early pieces if not close to it.
Definitely would look nice on a girl with clothes from that period. Great price to boot
