Savers sale this Monday!

Not much explanation needed really. You know the drill. 8am-9pm, 50% off clothing only. Get excited NOW! (Oh, and do you want to win a Savers voucher? You do? You'll have to fight me for it, but I like a bit of competition... Go here where there is a $50 voucher up for grabs - and check out the rest of the site too... yes, this is a shameless promotion for Fair@Square festival for which I am helping to run a fashion show!!)

Thanks for that - what a lot of information on that site. I had no idea Savers had been around since 1954! The first I ever heard of them was when I moved to Eltham and started shopping in Greensborough occasionally.

I want to be the first to enter the Dandenong savers today and get myself a great bargain!

It's 11:37am and I just got back from spending 3 hours and $93 dollars today. Got myself 2 full Savers bags of wonderful pants, blazers, shorts, long-sleeve shirts and 3 ties! At normal price I would have spent more then $150 dollars if not $200. I walked from Dandenong Savers to Dandenong Plaza inside carpark! Being my first major discounted sale shopping spree I had no idea the types of people that walked into the store. There is one particular item I would love to tell that I found... It is a authentic "Ralph Lauren" long-sleeve shirt which I picked up at JUST $10 dollars where this would be RRP$169 dollars! I was so stunned to have found something like this there.

I would love to share my bought clothes with everyone but I don't know how to do that on the main page :(

Oh Vito!! I feel like your stalker as I parked at the Plaza at about 11:30am and walked down to Savers too, but did a bit of other op shopping on the way... must have just missed you!!!
I didn't buy ANYTHING at Savers, this is what happens when I STILL have vouchers left over from my birthday AND there is a sale. I always end up finding stuff when I have forgotten the vouchers and the sale is not on! I bought a glittery jumpsuit at a different op shop though so might post about that later.
If you want to contribute to this blog I think there's an email address on the main page that you can contact, it would be nice to have a guy showing off his bargains too!

Thanks Fourth! I've always wanted to have my very own stalker! You just got there when I just left. You didn't get anything? That's a shame! There are other op shops around? Do tell, I only know of SAVERS in the area. You DID miss me but you wouldn't be able to recognize me anyways since I looked pale from my hay-fever. I was still willing to go even if it was full of dust... for clothes.
Poor thing! You should keep the vouchers with you in your purse? hand bag? Hope you do post about that glittery jumpsuit. I want to see what it looks like :) Not many guys post about their op shopping clothes? :(
I'm not much of a shopper so my choice of clothes can be off since:
1) I've lost a lot of weight
2) I haven't done any shopping for clothes since 8th grade, that's 9 years. Reminds me of Lenard from "The Big Bang Theory", He hasn't bought any new clothes since 8th grade too.
3)I need a girls help with getting the right clothes, their opinion.

There are heaps of op shops in Dandenong - there is a Salvo's kind of near the Savers, its in the street behind the Cheesecake shop (Pultney St?)

There is also one further down Lonsdale Street towards where all the motorbike shops are, and there is a Vinnies and a Uniting Care one there too (so 3 op shops in the space of like 100m!)

If you're looking for inspiration there is a list of op shops by suburb on this page in the right sidebar. :)

Yep and there is a BSL and Dandenong Benevolent Society on Thomas Street (a few mins walk from each other) so Dandy is EXCELLENT for opping. You should do your own blog, Vito!

Thanks! I'll take a look :)
Maybe I should write my own blog
