Big day out in Greensborough.

Hubby's family have been clearing out his Mum's house which has been sold. Much of the contents have gone to auction, so on Sunday my husband's niece and I sorted through what was left and filled up my Hatchback with bags of stuff for opshops. I dropped it all at Savers in Greensborough today about 11.30 am, then parked the car and went to browse. I was with my opshop lovin' friend again, and first we went to the Brotherhood shop behind Savers, where I spent the princely sum of $1.25 on these two items:
I can't resist things with peacocks, especially when they only cost 75c.

Couldn't resist this cat either. He's a bit knocked around, but for 50c I'm not going to argue!

Then we returned to Savers, and spent over an hour there, as well as about a hundred dollars between us! I was amazed to see some of MIL's stuff on the shelves already - gee they were quick to price it and put it out on sale!

Here is what I took home for about $18.
A dear little cup to make another pincushion. $1.

Two folders to file stuff in, $2 and $1 each. And a roll of wrapping paper for $1. It's got motorbikes on it and will be useful to wrap the MOTH's next birthday gift.

A pair of brushed cotton pyjamas in a light aqua colour, $5. This pic doesn't do them justice.

Dressing gown for $8. It is brand new, and just what I've been looking for to replace my old Target gown which is looking very tired after about 10 years of winters!
