saw the funniest thing ever today in Mornington, the Navy boys were in Vinnies and the Salvos trying on ladies evening wear for an upcoming function. there was some parading outside the fitting room and discussions about what to wear underneath. I had to stop myself giving advice and offering alterations.

I bet they all looked fabulous all dolled up in their finery!! In the Vinnies in Surry Hills here in Sydney a mum and daughter were bridal dress hunting. When the daughter walked out of the fitting room in an exquisite and mint-condition dress, it took our breath away!! My friend and I had finished our shopping so we never knew if they bought it or not.... hope they did as she looked as if the dress was made for her exactly.
what a lovely thing to see, none of the boys looked that good, though the one trying on the gold sequined boob tube dress and red lycra tights didn't look too bad. he was slim so they fitted him quite well.
LOL! We had a busload of footballers last year - they made such a mess trying things on and then discarding them, but they cleaned up after themselves, and bought about $300 worth of stuff, so we didn't complain!
Gina, these guys were so good, they were putting things back after trying them on and looked as if they were going to spend lots of money too, Salvos prices can be a bit over the top sometimes!
