I think we ripped them all down and replaced them. (Remember the Paris End of Collins St.)

I too am an op shop 'enthusiast' and even though I often don't find anything interesting it's that amazing find that keeps me going again and again. As for your rug in the previous post I would say it has probably been made with one of those daisy making gadgets that was around in the 70's. I'll see if I can find one in one of the issues of Golden Hands and let you know.
