There I found 15 balls of Perle 8 thread for $8.00. Moments earlier I had been contemplating buying Perle 8 thread from the nearby wool store for $2.50 per ball. Clearly my son was onto a winner!Displayed on an old spool holder found at the same oppy a couple of years ago.

What a gorgeous display, they remind me of delicious colourful macarons! ALWAYS, ALWAYS check op shops before buying from the "real" stores!
I have these on display in my living room :)
I might do some embroidery with them, but will definitely use most of it for hand quilting.
