Macedon Square in Lower Templestowe. See here too.
It was $20. If it's still there on Friday do you want me to buy it for you EmilyKate? It was quite well done but you could see the canvas a bit, the stitches didn't quite cover it (I'm a perfectionist, that would drive me nuts).
You're so kind! But I see what you mean about the canvas showing- I peeped at your photo in the large size on your flickr. I have a project in mind for covering an ottoman with an opshopped tapestry and so it has to be a thick and tightly stitched or or it won't wear well. Thanks again for the offer :o)
Breaks my heart to see things like this end up at opshops. Somebody has put countless hours into stitching that picture, and ultimately for what?? I occasionally buy somebody else's work at opshops to hang on my wall, but I haven't got room to house all the orphans I'd like to! Makes me wonder what will happen to all my hard work when I'm gone. No kids to leave it to - more fodder for opshops I suppose...

I like it - I didn't know there was an op shop at Macedon square - is this in Doncaster?
Omg.... I WANT IT!
looking up Macedon square right now... How much dud they want for it?
I have had a similar experience. Close to buying a tapestry but couldn't decide if it was sad or happy so walked away...
