While looking up Sacred Heart's op-shop opening hours, I stumbled across the organisation's new video about op shops. It's mostly promotional, but I did discover that a lot of their unwanted stock gets picked up by Diabetes Australia and Savers (instead of going to the tip).

Thanks for posting the video. I visited a couple of the Sacred Heart Mission op shops on the Comedy Festival's Op Shop Tour. Not bad but I prefer the old fashioned rummage type stores rather than those who 'select' their stock.
I've only ever been to their shop on the cnr of Riversdale and Glenferrie Rds.. and it was wonderful! Great selection and quality of stock and very reasonable prices (especially as alot of the stuff was still new with tags on!)
Great video, thanks for sharing! :)
what a wonderful video! thanks for posting , i had no idea about all those opp shops!
oh Thank you so much for that Video. Wonderful ! I know of a LOT of op shops in Melbourne that send their unwanted stock to Diabetes Australia, in fact most have a weekly pickup.
I've only been to the SH shop in Glenferrie Road, and I've found all sorts of interesting things there, now I'll have to venture further afield to check out their other Stores. Cheers.
Such a gorgeous blog hun, keep up the great work
